Everything comes in on consignment — nothing out of your pocket, and you keep ownership until it sells. Prefer cash now instead of waiting? Just ask about a buyout. We confirm everything in writing before we take possession.

We list, market, and sell

Every item is professionally photographed, researched against recent sold comparables for accurate market pricing, and listed across our established resale channels. We cover photography, listing, and shipping costs and manage all buyer communication, offers, negotiations, returns, and logistics from start to finish.

You keep 60% of every sale

Once the buyer confirms delivery, your 60% share is disbursed within 3 business days through your preferred payment method. Listing, shipping, and platform fees are absorbed on our end — no surprise deductions. When funds allow, we can also offer an optional cash advance against your items before they sell.

The 41-day sell-through cycle

Every item runs through a structured 41-day cycle built to capture the highest price first, then steadily widen the audience until it sells. Four stages, ten days each:

Days 1–10 · Full Price

Your item goes live at full market value across our site and resale channels. The goal is simple — the strongest price it can command.

Days 11–20 · Promote & Discount

Paid promotion and featured placement kick in, alongside strategic price drops and markdown sales. We also move pieces in person through our cleanout network.

Days 21–30 · Buyer Outreach

We take the item straight to buy-sell-trade shops and bulk buyers to line up a faster sale.

Days 31–40 · Final Clearance

Deep discounts, liquidation outlets, and bulk lot sales clear anything still on the shelf.

Not local to York PA? No problem. We accept shipped consignment items from anywhere in the United States. The same 60/40 split in your favor, the same professional service, the same fast turnaround.

How shipping works: Before you ship anything, text or email us photos and a description of your items. We'll reply with a realistic resale estimate based on current market data. If the estimated value justifies shipping costs, we'll confirm the consignment and provide our shipping address.

Who covers shipping? You are responsible for inbound shipping costs unless the estimated resale value of your items exceeds $500, in which case we will cover or split the cost of shipping at our discretion. We will never ask you to ship without first confirming the value makes it worthwhile for both parties.

Freight and pallets: Yes, we accept freight shipments. If you have palletized goods, bulk inventory, or items that require LTL freight, contact us directly to arrange logistics. We work with contractors, warehouse liquidators, and businesses shipping large volumes regularly.

How quickly do items sell?

It depends on the item. High-demand items like power tools, brand-name electronics, and kitchen appliances often sell within 48 to 72 hours. Standard items typically move within 7 to 14 days. Everything is actively managed, repriced, and promoted throughout the listing window. Nothing sits idle.

How do I get paid?

Your 60% share is disbursed within 3 business days of buyer delivery confirmation, through your preferred payment method. Platform fees and shipping costs are absorbed on our end. No surprise deductions. Need cash sooner? Ask about a buyout or, when funds allow, a cash advance against your items.

What if my items don't sell?

Every item runs a structured 41-day cycle — full price first, then promotion and markdowns, then buyer outreach, then final clearance. If it still hasn't sold at day 41, it's your call: keep selling at clearance pricing on the same 60/40 split, take it back free of charge, or donate it for a tax receipt. We can also buy out whatever's left.

Do you buy items outright?

Yes. While everything starts on consignment, we'll buy items outright on request at any time, or on anything still unsold after the 41-day cycle. Buyout offers depend on condition, demand, and available capital — it's the fast-cash option whenever you'd rather not wait for the sale.

Do you accept broken or damaged items?

We assess every item individually. Some damaged or non-working items still have significant resale value for parts, repair, or salvage. Text us a photo and we'll give you an honest assessment. If it's not worth listing, we'll tell you upfront.

Is there a minimum value to consign?

We don't have a hard minimum, but items should have a realistic resale value of at least $20 to justify the photography, listing, and shipping effort. For lower-value items, we recommend grouping them into lots for bulk sale.

Do you handle freight and large shipments?

Yes. We accept LTL freight, palletized goods, and bulk inventory from anywhere in the United States. If you're a contractor, warehouse, or business clearing large volumes, contact us directly to arrange logistics. We work with freight regularly and can coordinate pickup or receiving at our York PA facility.

Can I ship items to you if I'm not local?

Yes. We accept shipped consignment from anywhere in the US. Text or email us photos first so we can confirm the estimated value justifies shipping costs. If the resale value exceeds $500, we will cover or split inbound shipping. Full details are in our shipping section above.

How do you determine pricing?

Every item is researched against recent sold comparables on major resale platforms. We use real market data, not guesswork. Pricing starts at full market value on day one and steps down on a structured 41-day schedule — promotion, buyer outreach, then clearance — to keep items moving while maximizing your return.

Can I track my items after drop-off?

Yes. We provide status updates on request including listing links, view counts, and sale confirmations. Full transparency is one of our core principles. You see everything we see.

What areas do you serve for pickups?

Consignment Agreement

This agreement governs all items placed with Mywrld Asset Recovery for resale. A signed copy is provided at intake.

Clause 1 · Parties and Scope

Parties and Scope

This Consignment Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Mywrld Asset Recovery, a sole proprietorship operated by Douglas Laws and located in York, Pennsylvania ("Mywrld"), and the individual or entity delivering items for consignment ("Consignor"). This Agreement applies to all items listed on the intake form and physically received by Mywrld.

Clause 2 · Ownership

Ownership and Authority to Sell

Consignor represents and warrants that Consignor is the lawful owner of each consigned item, that each item is free of liens and encumbrances, that each item was legally obtained, and that Consignor has full authority to transfer title to a buyer upon sale. Consignor agrees to indemnify Mywrld against any claim arising from a breach of this representation.

Clause 3 · Commission and Payout

Commission Split and Payout

Items are received on a consignment basis. For the duration that an item is actively listed, the net sale price (sale price minus platform fees and shipping costs) is split 60% to Consignor and 40% to Mywrld. Consignor's share is disbursed within three (3) business days after buyer delivery confirmation through Consignor's preferred payment method. No upfront fees, intake fees, or storage fees are charged. Mywrld covers photography, listing, and shipping costs. Any cash advance against unsold items is optional and offered solely at Mywrld's discretion.

Clause 4 · 41-Day Window

Active Window and Conversion

Each item moves through a forty-one (41) day sell-through cycle of four ten-day stages: (1) full-price listing, (2) paid promotion and markdown pricing, (3) outreach to resale buyers and bulk purchasers, and (4) final clearance and liquidation. If the item remains unsold at the end of the cycle, Consignor must elect one of the following within seven (7) calendar days of notice:

(a) Continued Listing: Mywrld continues listing the item at clearance pricing on the same 60% Consignor / 40% Mywrld split until it sells.

(b) Return: Mywrld returns the item to Consignor at no charge.

(c) Donation: Mywrld donates the item to a local 501(c)(3) charity on Consignor's behalf and provides a donation receipt for Consignor's tax records. All rights to the item are forfeited upon donation.

Optional Buyout: At any time upon Consignor's request, or on unsold items at the close of the 41-day cycle, Mywrld may offer to purchase the item(s) outright at a mutually agreed price. Buyouts are offered solely at Mywrld's discretion based on condition, demand, and available capital, and are never required of either party.

If Consignor fails to respond within seven (7) days of notice, Option (a) is deemed elected by default.

Clause 5 · No Guarantee

No Guarantee of Sale

Mywrld makes no guarantee, express or implied, that any consigned item will sell within the 41-day window or at any specific price. Market conditions, buyer demand, and seasonality affect all resale outcomes.

Clause 6 · Care and Liability

Care, Loss, and Damage

Mywrld will exercise reasonable care in storing, handling, and shipping consigned items. Mywrld is not liable for loss, theft, fire, flood, or damage beyond the documented wholesale value of the item, and in no event for consequential or incidental damages. Consignor is encouraged to insure items of unusually high value independently.

Clause 7 · Cancellation

Cancellation and Withdrawal

Consignor may withdraw any item prior to its first live listing at no cost. After listing, Consignor may request removal of an item by written notice, provided the item is not under an active buyer offer or pending sale. Mywrld will remove and return the item within fourteen (14) business days of such request. Returned items may be subject to a reasonable handling fee to cover photography, listing, and restocking labor.

Clause 8 · Taxes

Taxes and Reporting

Consignor is solely responsible for reporting consignment proceeds as income where applicable. Mywrld may issue a Form 1099 to any Consignor whose annual payouts meet or exceed the IRS reporting threshold.

Clause 9 · Governing Law

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in York County, Pennsylvania.
